Repair of Bore Casings
As bores with steel casings age, quantifiable problems tend to occur as the casings break or collapse, which generally result in the bore being abandoned and/or resulting in replacement at an adjacent site. Following surveys during bore inspections OPTION NOW EXISTS where the bore can be relined and
brought back into operation. This saves $$, regulatory requirements and resetting of power and pumping configurations and is much quicker with most bores being completed within one day.
Our method is to use 1.6 mm gauge spiral welded stainless steel 304 pipe TIG welded together to form a complete sleeve down to the screen packer. The reduction of the internal diameter of the bore is effected only by the gauge thickness of the pipe ensuring the pump will easily fit back into place.
