GROUNDWATER ASSET MANAGERS

Water Bore Redevelopers have selected advanced plant & machinery along with the newest technology for underground inspection of water bores, to ensure maintenance and rehabilitation practices were brought into the 21st century.

This approach aimed to provide a service capable of delivering to the client a management programme that would encompass every aspect of his asset.

Water Bore Redevelopers developed a monitoring system by manually gathering technical information from water bores, i.e. draw-down, discharge pressure, amps, flow etc, on a regular basis and by including the history of previous readings, entered all the information into a computer programme. This allowed the client to be fully aware of the state of his bore/borefield and enabled him to take action for rehabilitation prior to any major catastrophe occurring.

Water Bore Redevelopers Groundwater Asset Management Programme is running at present on two mining sites in Western Australia.

Our reporting and rehabilitation service is ensuring the delivery of production water required by this sector is maintained at the levels required to ensure full production of their product.

As a company, Water Bore Redevelopers is a member of the Asset Management Council – a Technical Society of the Institute of Engineers of Australia

Case Study

At Dandaragan Olive Farms, a production bore had failed. The client requested immediate attention. After locating the problem with our VIDEOLOG side view camera, we activated a set of 3 overlapping SONAR-JET units over the length of the screen. The bore was then baled and we recovered sands/clays brought in by the use of SONAR-JET. Using our VIDEOLOG side view camera again, enabled us to supply a ‘before’ and ‘after’ video of the screen for the client. The bore previously had a draw-down of 45 metres and after SONAR-JET the draw-down came back to 5 metres and production of water was back on line within 24 hours. As at todays date we are looking after this borefield under Groundwater Asset Managers portfolio
