SENTINOS
Our work priority has been based on the development of management skills to assist our clients’ requirements to ensure maintenance procedures were improved and targets were achieved, not only for the customer but also for our own company’s development, offering a more efficient and innovative approach.
Over a period of three years, we have developed a patent borefield management software programme that created alot of interest from the mining sector.
There are restrictions of the percentage of deterioration of the capabilities of the bore/pump, working in conjunction with the amount of water the actual aquifer around the bore is capable of sustaining, and not forgetting the amount of loss in static water levels, due to climate change.
All the information is recorded and reported to the manager of the asset, with recommendations being presented by our licensed water drillers as to the procedures required to increase performance of the asset.
We had to develop a different methodology! our solution was to increase our ability to manage our present and future clients’ assets.
All of our customers are managers of assets. The state Water Corporation and Department of Water, both have water bore assets worth in the millions of dollars.
The engineers and administrators, had for years, carried out their maintenance activities on an “as required” basis due to monetary restraints.
Our investigations showed that to assist in the compounding problem of machinery breakdown, a reliable and programmed series of priorities had to be arranged to ensure the asset was functioning at its highest, yet most economic performance.
